A Little More About Me
Spencer Ball is an estate planning and business attorney and counselor serving Utah families and small businesses. After graduating with a Chemistry degree and working eight years, Spencer returned to school to study law at the J Reuben Clark Law School at BYU. Spencer has been in practice for 25 years helping every day people in many areas, including family law issues and litigation. In 1992 he opened a title company where he worked for 17 years.
Spencer’s focus now, as a Family Business Lawyer, is to provide advice and counseling regarding wealth planning both in business and in retirement. These two areas are inseparable for the business owner. His wide knowledge and experience with the law gained over many years in many areas gives him a valuable perspective in his area of focus.
A consultation with Spencer is an invaluable educational experience to those unfamiliar with estate planning. His recommendations and insights are tailored to each individual family. He covers areas and asks questions that are extremely relevant to a family’s real needs which most people never knew even existed. Spencer takes a genuine interest in every client in giving advice that is only for the furtherance of the benefit of the client. He measures success on how genuine the help is that he gives.
Spencer has received the Legal Leaders award for top lawyers named by their peers, as published in Utah Business magazine. He is a member of the Estate Planning and Business sections of the Bar. He is also a licensed Title and Escrow Officer.
Spencer lives in the mountains East of Salt Lake City where he built a summer cabin, which he turned into a year round comfortable home. Hiking the lofty mountains’ grandeur and breathing the fresh mountain air gives him inspiration and joy.
